Leo Rondeau

Eleven thirty eight PM central standard time
was the exact moment she told me to move down the line
says I got to go this ain't working anymore
don't you worry honey cause I can find the door

Thirty five minutes after the midnight hour
I found myself in the arms of another rainy day women
won't you make me feel good
my fair weather gals done kick me to the curb
and that's okay I don't mind being on my way
pack my grit and get on with it

She has as least ten crosses hangin' on her wall
she tells me every night that she talks to em' all
to confess yes she doesn't know what is best
then prays her next move is the one that is blessed

Bang my head against that wall so much its been bruised
tryin' to solve the mystery
she never gives me any clues to her heart
won't ever tell me what she wants
but I know in the end that is only my fault
and that ok I don't mind being on my way
pack my grit and get on with it

I'm running through the streets and I'm purposely dishevelled
tryin' to attract a women who's a fixer and a marvel
that a man who sometimes can't stand
the weight of his thoughts followed through with his plan

The moon is on the way and the sun is firing up
and i'm tryin' to decide if I should have one more cup
or depart I never know what I want
but in the end that is only my fault
and thats okay cause I don't mind being on my way
pack my grit and get on with it
